The Yacht

Countless boats are marketed as "racer-cruisers." Most of the time it's hogwash. The boat excels at one thing or the other, but not both. This one, though, can do it all and has done it all. Rag Doll is the perfect choice for a sailor who wants space below but plenty of go-fast up top. The 30 is legendary for its huge interior volume and comfortable cabin. Not much more needs to be said about that. But let's remember that in the right hands, properly equipped, these all-time-classic sloops are still formidable competitors.

Rag Doll
has bagged hundreds of blue, first-place flags, including overall winner of the 1998 South Shore Yacht Club Queens Cup race across Lake Michigan. The other night, in the beer-can fleet, she won overall first place again. Key to her winning ways was the owner's commitment to making her easier to use. You'll appreciate that the primary jib winches are newer, over-sized Harken #44s. She also has over-sized wheel steering for sure handling in any condition. Her full sail inventory is in great shape. As for gear – all highest-quality. Also, she received a complete new rig in 2007. Rag Doll can't wait for you to pick her up. Price: $31,000 USD.
